How free and near-free entry works at Stake Poker, and how Royal Gambit Poker gets you into a $250,000 guaranteed tournament without paying the buy-in.
What changed in November 2026
Through most of 2026 Royal Gambit Poker funded a $500 guaranteed freeroll every month, free to enter for our members. That has now been replaced by something worth a lot more to the players who reach it.
The new promotion is called Road to the Showdown. Make a final table in one of the qualifying Stake Jacked Series tournaments and Royal Gambit Poker gives you a $100 ticket to the final-step satellite for the $250,000 guaranteed Stake Showdown on Sunday 29 November. You keep your tournament prize money on top, and the ticket costs you nothing.

How free entry works at Stake
- What a freeroll is: a tournament you enter without paying a buy-in, where the prize pool is put up by the operator or by an affiliate like Royal Gambit Poker rather than by the players.
- Satellites are the cheaper route: during the Jacked Series, satellites into the headline events start from $0.50. Winning one is how most players get into a $200 or $1,000 event without paying for it.
- Our current free offer: the Road to the Showdown $100 satellite ticket. It is free to the player and is awarded for reaching a final table in a qualifying Jacked Series tournament.
- Account requirement: every Royal Gambit Poker promotion requires a Stake account opened through one of our links. We verify claims against the referral report Stake sends us, and an account opened any other way does not appear in it.
- Where to look: all Jacked Series events, including the satellites, are listed in the Stake Poker tournament lobby under Jacked Series.
- Eligibility: 18 or over, and only where online poker is legal in your country.
