How to Deposit on Stake
The whole process in three steps. It takes about two minutes, and the minimum deposit is $5.
New to Stake? This is the whole deposit process in three steps. You can fund your account with crypto or with your local currency, and both routes are covered below.
You need a Stake account first. If you do not have one yet, create your account here so your play is linked to Royal Gambit Poker and you qualify for our monthly freeroll.
Open your wallet
Log in to Stake. At the top of the screen you will see your balance, and right next to it a blue wallet button. Click it.
That button is the only place deposits happen, and it sits in the same spot on desktop and on mobile.
Choose crypto or local currency
The wallet window opens with two tabs at the top. Pick the one that suits you:
- Option 1, Crypto: deposit with Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum, Litecoin and others. Fastest option, lowest fees.
- Option 2, FIAT: deposit with your bank card, bank transfer or a local payment method. Easiest if you do not already own crypto.
If you chose Option 1, Crypto
- Currency: pick the coin you are sending. USDT is the usual choice, because its value does not move while your transfer is in flight.
- Network: pick the network your coin is being sent on. This must match the network you select in your own wallet or exchange.
- Address: this field holds your personal deposit address. Copy it with the copy icon on the right, or scan the QR code with your phone wallet.
- Paste that address into your exchange or wallet, enter the amount, and send.
You can also connect a browser wallet directly using the Use your Wallet button at the bottom, which supports MetaMask, Binance, Coinbase and others.
If you chose Option 2, FIAT
Click the FIAT tab. The first time you use it, Stake asks for a few extra details to verify you.
- Select your country code and enter your phone number.
- Click Continue.
- Follow the prompts to choose your payment method and enter the amount. Stake shows the local payment options available in your country.
Wait for it to land, then play
Crypto deposits usually appear within a few minutes, once the network confirms the transaction. Local currency deposits are typically instant, though some bank methods take longer.
When the balance updates at the top of your screen, you are funded. Head to Stake Poker and take a seat.

Common questions
What is the minimum deposit?
$5. That is enough to get you funded and seated.
My crypto deposit has not arrived.
Check the transaction on the blockchain explorer for that network. If it shows as confirmed but your balance has not updated, contact Stake live chat with the transaction ID. They respond quickly.
Do I have to deposit to play your freeroll?
The rules for our monthly $500 freeroll are on the freeroll page. Read them there so you know exactly what qualifies.
I do not own any crypto.
